The Hebrew letters spell Hillel, the name of the great 1st century rabbi and scholar (30 BC - AD 10). In addition to this wonderful statement and many others, he is credited with the Golden Rule, the summation of all of Torah: "What is hateful to you, do not inflict upon others."Michael
